Job Description
Summerset at Wigram are looking for an exceptional Caregiver to join the team on a permanent, part time basis.
The shifts you would be working are Monday & Tuesday 1500 to 2300 and Sunday 1500 to 2300, with the opportunity to pick up more and cover absences.
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care to residents under the guidance and direction of the Registered NurseWorking as part of a team to support creating an enjoyable and safe home for residents
This is a developmental role that will grow your ability as a Caregiver and provide you with the skills and knowledge to create a career in healthcare.
To be a successful candidate you will:
have experience in aged care and or have a qualification relevant to the role.have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).
