Sales assistant in organic wholefoods store - Oamaru

Nomad Wholefoods is a small store, mostly organic, with a zero waste approach, based in Akaroa.
It is owner operated, however I am pregnant and will require help from September onwards, to keep a continuity of service to the Akaroa community.
You will be responsible of opening the store, keeping it tidy and clean during the day, assisting customers with their purchases, preparing online orders from time to time, and closing the store at the end of the day.
Open hours are 9.30 am to 3.00 pm, Wednesday to Saturday. However that can fluctuate during peak tourist season.
This would suit someone confident, who can easily engage in conversation with customers, while being quick on their feet if they need help. Sometimes things are quiet, sometimes there are suddenly 3 or 4 customers at once!
Training in September for a week and then you are on your own while I rest for the end of my pregnancy and early postpartum!
Company car can be provided, clean driving record necessary.

Accommodation in a studio (Little River) can be provided, for a $300 pw rent, including power and wifi. Or you could arrange your own accommodation in the area (note there is a shortage of affordable rentals in Akaroa)
