Job Description

AFFCO Head Office are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Payroll Administrator for our team. With the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines, you need to have an eye for detail and be confident in your organisation and time management skills.

Based at the AFFCO Head Office, this is a one-year fixed term role, working 20-30 hours per week. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring all payroll information, including input and maintenance of the electronic payroll system is completed in a timely and accurate manner
General administration duties including, but not limited to, financial administration and reporting
Managing the collation of daily and weekly ACC requirements for the Injury Management Unit (IMU)
Completion and collation of data for new claims, running reports for weekly compensation calculations, reconciling and collating summary data for weekly payrolls.
Accuracy checks and auditing of data

Providing a timely, accurate and professional payroll service to the plant payroll administrators and IMU

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we are looking for the following skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially excel
Knowledge of payroll-associated employment legislation is advantageous, however not essential
Experience working with MYOB Pay Global or similar large payroll system would be preferred
