About the roleWe are looking for someone to join us as a Charge Nurse Manager in our Orthopaedic clinics.The Charge Nurse Manager (CNM) position is responsible for the effective management of the Orthopaedic clinics.

The CNM will do this through managing and leading the people, systems, processes and resources that facilitate clinically safe, efficient and effective service delivery across the Orthopaedic clinics.The CNM will provide clinical and professional leadership to the team, developing the nursing service, ensuring quality standards are met and contributing to the strategic direction for the Orthopaedic clinic.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Leader to develop and implement new models of care.
The Orthopaedic clinic sees more than 30,000 patients annually so this is a busy and important role.
The role is based in Wellington Regional Hospital, however clinics are deliver at Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, and Te Wao Nui (Children
  • s Hospital).
You will be expected to have a presence in all of the locations that orthopaedic clinics are delivered.About you Previous leadership experience Orthopaedic experience preferred Current Annual Practicing CertificateRelevant Post-Graduate qualification or working towards thisExperience in leading quality improvement and change initiativesUnderstands the significance and obligations of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and supports leadership of these within the serviceWorking at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is
