Type: Permanent Hours: Full time Location: Wellington Branch: Partnerships & Commissions Salary: $175,653 - $218,590 The Branch Performance team, defined as the arteries of the Department, serve as a connector and enabler for the Branch and organisation, ensuring alignment and effective execution of the Department's strategic priorities.
Working collaboratively with like functions, they play a key role in ensuring an enterprise-wide perspective, and aligning the organisation's operations and strategies.As a key member of the Branch Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Director Branch Performance provides high quality strategic leadership, advice and performance and planning services for the Deputy Secretary (DS) and Branch.
They may lead special projects at the direction of the Deputy Secretary and assist the Deputy Secretary to maintain effective relationships within and external to the Department. The Director is also accountable for leading the Branch's corporate accountability planning, reporting and compliance activities to support the Department's wider organisational performance, servicing ministerial and government stakeholder needs.
The Partnerships and Commissions branch is responsible for a diverse portfolio of national institutions, commissions and community-focused services. The branch includes: Archives New Zealand The National Library of New ZealandMinisterial ServicesHāpai Hapori Community OperationsCommissions and Inquiries Te Ara Tahi ProgrammeDIA offers opportunities to grow.
