Title:** Carpenter

**Location:** Pokeno, Auckland

**Pay Rate:** $28- $32 per hour

**Hours of Work:** Monday - Friday 7am till 5pm

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Carpenter for one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Constructing, installing, and repairing panelling in barns, stables, utility buildings, and other agricultural structures
• Measure, cut, and install wood panelling in accordance with design plans and safety standards
• Maintain, repair, or replace existing structures as needed Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or farm-specific design requirements
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Select and prepare appropriate materials for each job
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work meets structural and aesthetic expectations
• Collaborate with other staff and other trades to complete tasks on schedule
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow farm safety policies and comply with all health and safety regulations

***The successful applicant will be required to operate EWP machinery. Experience and understanding on how to operate EWP Machinery is a must***

• Clean Class 1 license and EWP Certification
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Previous experience operating machinery and hand tools with skill and precision
• Ability to ensure all work is completed to schedule and to the highest quality standards
• Proven ability to follow health and safety regulations and best practices in the workshop
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Must have own tools
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal history checks
