Artisan Bread Baker – Ovens (4pm–12am, Mon–Fri)
Location: The Dusty Apron Bakery, Mt Wellington, Auckland
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term (with potential for permanent role)
The Dusty Apron Bakery is an established wholesale artisan bakery supplying cafes, restaurants, and hotels across Auckland. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable baker to manage our oven shift (4pm–12am, Monday to Friday).
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract covering for a team member currently on ACC. There is the possibility for the role to become permanent at the end of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the ovens during the evening shift (artisan breads & pastries)
Load, bake, and unload breads with consistency and quality
Monitor baking schedules and product flow
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For:
Previous baking experience (artisan bread preferred)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliability – consistent attendance is essential
Physically fit (role involves lifting trays and bread crates)
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
