A reputable and growing company, MEGADAIRY LIMITED, is expanding its team to meet rapid business growth. We are seeking Mechanical Engineering Technicians and invite interested candidates to apply.

• Develops technical drawings, plans, and layouts for mechanical engineering projects under the guidance of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists.
• Supports Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in designing mechanical machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Identifies and selects suitable tools, equipment, and resources for project needs.
• Builds, installs, and modifies mechanical assemblies, components, machinery, controls, and hydraulic power systems.
• Calculates and estimates material quantities, costs, and machinery requirements.
• Conducts and oversees both field and laboratory testing activities.
• Gathers and evaluates technical data, performs advanced calculations, and produces technical diagrams.
• Plans and supervises the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Verifies that all designs and completed works comply with specifications, standards, and contractual obligations.
• Performs testing on mechanical systems, compiles and interprets data, and assists with assembling and installing mechanical assemblies in collaboration with Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists.
• Executes any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the employer.

• Location: Auckland
• Job type: Full-time Permanent
• Pay rate: 30.00- 45.00 New Zealand dollars per hour
• Days required: Monday to Sunday
• Hours per week: At least 40

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, or a relevant NZQF diploma qualification, or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
