New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) is dedicated to saving lives. Every year, tens of thousands of generous people donate their time, blood and plasma to us for free. Our Role:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst, with sound experience within a broad range of IT infrastructure and Application solutions. This role is focused on improving our business processes and supporting our ongoing and new IT projects, while working with our stakeholders from across the wider NZBS team.
Our Business Analyst will be:
- Scoping Information Services related projects
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather requirements
- Mapping business and system processes
- Assessing and validating solutions
- Managing application releases
- Developing business cases of varying sizes
- Maintaining system related documentation.
Successful candidate will have:
- At least 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience with MS Office, BA tools such as Visio, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Substantial experience in stakeholder management and in explaining technical content to different user groups.
- Sound business analyst skillsets, especially around project scoping
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Experience working in a project environment as the lead BA
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall project management concepts.
