Factory Worker/Helping Hand in Huntly

We are looking for someone who is motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment food production facility.

We have an immediate vacancy available for a part-time position in this busy team. Can be moved to full-time if you want more hours of work (prior agreement with management)

• Three working days a week, Mon/Wed/Fri (public holidays if agreed upon)
• Guaranteed 20 hours
• Hours of work: 8am to 3pm Mon (hours may vary according to seasonal demand)

Key responsibilities:

• Assembling flat crates ready for packaged fresh produce.
• Cleaning and maintenance around the facility (sweeping floors, cleaning walls, mowing lawns, etc)
• Help the team clean up at the end of the day

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced moving environment (preferred but not essential)
• Good initiative
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Follow directions and respond to all instructions safely, proficiently, and punctually
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (no visa sponsorships)
• Reliable Transport

The ideal candidate will need to be reliable and able to learn on the job. Must also have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, with the ability to work in a team as well as alone.
