About the Role
As a Recovery Support Worker, youll work alongside tangata whaiora in a residential setting to support their journey of recovery from addiction. Youll provide practical support, encouragement, and supervision to ensure a safe, non-judgemental, and empowering environment.Your role will involve implementing individual recovery plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and contributing to a culture of safety, equity, and wellbeing.

Springhill Residential Recovery Centre in Napier is part of Te Whatu Ora - Te Matau a Maui Hawkes Bay.

About you
As a Recovery Support Worker, you will bring:
- A National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) or be working towards it.
- Experience in addiction and/or mental health, ideally in a residential or community setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A full, clean NZ drivers licence and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally safe practice.
