Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a multi-faceted business with opportunities for advancement. We are looking for someone to assist us with the day-to-day management of our restaurant and bars, involved in all aspects of the business.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant.
Job Overview/Responsibilities:- Staff Training and Management
- Record Keeping
- Stock Control/Management
- Compliance with Sale of Liquor Act
- Health and Safety
- Cash Handling
- Handle Customer Complaints and Feedback
- Monitor and Maintain the Cleanliness and Presentation of the Restaurant
- At least 2 year’s experience in restaurant or bar
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
- Barista experience preferred
- Must have Duty Managers license or be willing and able to obtain one within 3 months of starting
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Great time management
You will be employed for a minimum of 40 hours per week and wage will be determined on experience. This position is based in Winton, Southland.
