We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Foreman to oversee site operations, coordinate logistics, and act as a key liaison between field teams and management, ensuring efficient and consistent delivery across various locations.
This role is primarily based in the South Island, but it involves regular travel to the North Island to support project execution and operational needs. Flexibility to travel nationwide is essential, as you'll be working on a range of sites throughout New Zealand.
What does this look like?- Supervise activities across multiple active construction sites throughout New Zealand.
- Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and timeline standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and resolve issues.
- Ensure all carpentry work is compliant with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or relevant tertiary education.
- Current LBP (Residential) is preferred, but not essential.
- Proven experience as a construction foreman, with regional or multi-site oversight preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
