About the Role
This is a growth-focused role for someone who thrives in action—not just strategy. As Sales Leader – Machinery Parts & Product Growth, you’ll take responsibility for increasing revenue, expanding our product range, and building relationships with farmers and contractors.
You’ll also provide day-to-day leadership and coordination across our parts team and sites—ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance. You won’t just manage from behind a desk; you’ll lead from the front, spending time both in-store and out on-farm, actively engaging with customers and identifying sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify customer needs and introduce new product categories accordingly
- Build strong relationships through on-farm visits and targeted outreach
- Work with marketing to support seasonal campaigns and supplier promotions
- Coordinate stock forecasting, ordering, and pricing strategies
- Present and display products to enhance visibility and customer experience
- Track performance metrics across revenue, margin, and stock turn
- Lead, support, and develop the parts team across locations to deliver high performance and customer service excellence
About You
We’re looking for someone commercially minded and passionate about machinery and customer service. You will have:- Proven experience in proactive sales or business development
- Mechanical aptitude or a strong interest in machinery
- Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting customer and supplier relationships
- Experience working to margin, stock, or performance targets
- Confidence to work independently and lead through example
- Ability to support and guide others in a team environment
- A background in automotive, mechanical, or agricultural sectors is preferred
- Prior experience in operations, parts, or customer service is an advantage
