We are a skilled and dedicated workforce, working within the dementiaand hospital units to provide quality care in a friendly environment.

The role will facilitate theprofessional development of staff and focus on implementation and developmentof a nursing care delivery model that supports service requirements.

You willprovide clinical leadership in nursing practice and co-ordinate departmentactivities for the provision of a safe environment for practice.Effective communication and development of a closeworking relationship with all multidisciplinary team members is the key tosuccess in this role.

With your extensive clinical experience and resident focusedattitude, you will demonstrate the ability to enthusiastically lead a diverseteam in a challenging but supportive environment.

Working seamlessly within anInterdisciplinary Team including District Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists,Home Based Services & Allied Health Professionals.We are looking for a collaborative senior nursewith strong interpersonal skills, innovative thinking, the ability to problemsolve and respond in this fast-paced environment.

You will have a strongteam focus and be committed to growing and supporting the team.About YouAs a Senior Nurse you will haverecent Community and Rural / Aged Care experience and proven leadership skillssupporting daily operational activity and patient flowYour expert communication,interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage people at all levels will seeyou work effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of teams to lead yourteam to provide advanced clinical care and nursing expertise to the residentsand their families/whānau.By utilising your advanced knowledgeand clinical skills in collaboration with nursing, allied health medicine, andthe wider multidisciplinary team and other external agencies you willcontribute to the development and maintenance of high quality evidenced based residentcare whilst also contributing to and developing appropriate nursing standardsand quality initiatives.You can problem solve and managecomplex situations as they arise, redistributing nursing resources to ensureoptimal resident experience while supporting clinical delivery.

Yoursound interpersonal skills and impeccable management of complex situationsenable you to work alongside a variety of clinicians to ensure care isdelivered as required.You will have a comprehensiveunderstanding of Nursing Council
