Requirements

The successful candidates should have one of the following:

At least 3 year of experience in Thai massage; OR
A Thai Massage qualification of 150 hours or more, which may substitute for the required work experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and professional Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate appropriate skills and experience relevant to the role.

Key Responsibilities

Perform massage on soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, using a range of Thai massage techniques to assist healing.
Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension by applying finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body.
Assess and treat specific soft tissue dysfunctions and provide basic rehabilitation advice.
Apply additional techniques such as essential oils, herbal treatments, hot stone, and mineral therapies to assist recovery.
Provide clients with guidance on posture improvement, stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of massage and treatment areas, as directed by the facility owner.
Perform therapeutic massage and spa treatments in accordance with best practice and company standards.
Take responsibility for ongoing personal and professional development and contribute to team development through sharing good practice.
Work with a positive attitude and professional manner.
Follow all lawful and reasonable instructions from the employer.

Remuneration & Benefits

Competitive market rate wage of $25.00 per hour (for the right candidate).
Wages paid promptly and correctly.
Holiday pay and sick leave provided in accordance with New Zealand employment law.

Employment Type & Hours of Work

Permanent, full-time positions
Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week (maximum of 48 hours)
Rostered 5–6 days per week, according to business requirements
Work may be rostered Monday to Sunday between 9:30 am and 8:00 pm
While the roster may be flexible, a minimum of 30 paid hours per week is guaranteed
