We’re looking for a full-time Senior Front of House member with a bright, positive personality to join the team, ensuring our customers are well cared for and high standards are maintained. This is a unique role as you will also gain experience and exposure to the coffee roastery side of the business with the potential scope to work across our new site in nearby Rosedale if desired.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- Assisting the daily operations in the cafe, ensuring service runs smoothly and customers are given the best possible experience
- Fostering a positive culture of teamwork and excellence
- The ability to communicate confidently and directly with the team
- Supporting the back of house team as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised environment for both staff and customers
- Assisting with ordering as required
- Addressing any customer enquiries promptly
- Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and food control plan requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- A thorough understanding of what it takes to run a successful cafe
- An understanding of brew techniques and barista experience a big bonus :)
- Excellent communication and valuing the importance of a positive team culture
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, wrangling those dockets like a pro and keeping everyone in check when we’ve got a full house
- A passion for coffee and a commitment to providing genuine, warm hospitality
- Availability to work flexible hours, including one-weekend shift (we tend to work on a fixed roster though some flexibility will be required when covering staff leave, etc)
