Thames - Dump Truck Operator

Our client is looking for people who have prior experience operating heavy machinery within a quarry environment. As a machine operator you will be responsible for operating a range of heavy equipment but mostly Dumptrucks. The role involves working in diverse environments, adhering to strict safety protocols, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dumptrucks efficiently and safely.
• Follow operational plans and instructions to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any faults or issues.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and production activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience within a quarry or civil environment.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, graders, or dump trucks.
• Ability to work day and night shifts on a rotating roster (6 on, 3 off).
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
