Automotive Electrician Technician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our service team in Mt Wellington, Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and installing electrical systems and components in a range of access and construction equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair faults in the electrical systems of EWPs and related vehicles
- Install and test electrical components including batteries, wiring, lighting systems, alternators, and circuit boards
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- Operate diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
- Liaise with clients and suppliers as required
- Support both workshop operations and off-site service calls

Applicant must have:- A relevant tertiary qualification OR
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Must be physically fit
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must provide a current CV
- Must provide verifiable references confirming previous work experience
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand (NZ citizenship/ residency or a valid visa)
- Strong knowledge of automotive and industrial electrical systems
- A valid and current New Zealand driver’s licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
