We will offer a permanent full-time agreement with a minimum of 35 hours a week and a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Skills and Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping and sanitizing rooms. The applicant must have the ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate customer needs. Friendly attitude and strong leadership skills. Must also have a good eye for detail.
Job description:- Assigning housekeeping tasks to housekeeping staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
- Confer with the department team leaders to coordinate activities.
- Investigate complaints about cleanliness and equipment and take corrective action.
- Oversee all housekeeping work.
- Check all accommodation daily to ensure cleanliness meets the expected standards.
- Observe all health and safety procedures and enforce safety regulations.
- Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
- Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.
- Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems and discuss company policies as agreed with Operations Manager.
- Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
- Select and order cleaning supplies in the absence of the supervisor.
Working days include Tuesday to Saturday (5 days) - working hours are 8am to 4pm depending on workload. A minimum of 35 hrs and a maximum of 40 hrs per week are guaranteed. Minimum pay rate per hour is $29 and maximum pay rate is $30. A uniform will be provided by the employer.
All work is completed on site at the Hot Water Beach TOP10 Holiday Park, 790 Hot Water Beach Rd, RD1, Hot Water Beach.
