About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced registered nurse who a passion for diabetes, to work alongside and learn from experienced senior clinicans in the Diabetes service.
You will work with people with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and Gestational diabetes mainly within the Diaebtes in Pregnancy team.Ideally you will have some experience with patient insulin therapies on multi dose injections and you will have the opportunity to learn more about insulin pump therapy.
You will be required to provide diabetes education to patients and their whanau.Click here to view the position description. About the ServiceTe Whatu Ora Waikato Regional Diabetes Service provides secondary level care to those within the Waikato Region.
This expands as far as Coromandel, Taumarunui, Te Kauwhata and the Raglan coast. We have a large multi-disciplinary team and promote a positive approach to teamwork. We are committed to and support the learning and development of our staff to give the best possible care to our patients.
