Tanoshi - Front of House Assistants

- Front of House Assistants (Full-time)
- Hours per week:40-50 (minimum of 30 hours)
- Pay rate between $24 and $30 per hour
- No previous experience required
- No qualification required. Full training provided

The responsibilities for this role are:
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service which include greeting and
welcoming customers, following Tanoshi’s Sequence of Service, addressing their inquiriesor concerns, and ensuring their overall satisfaction throughout their experience.
Food and Beverage Service: Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that customers have a pleasant dining
experience. Have a good knowledge of the menu, make recommendations, andaccommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.
Cash Handling and Point of Sale: (POS) Operations Process payments, handle cash, and operate POS systems. Handle
transactions, provide receipts, and balance cash registers at the end of their shifts.
Up-selling and Cross-selling :Promote additional products or services to customers. Suggest complementary items, promoting specials or promotions, and enhancing the overall customer experience through
recommendations.
Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy environment for customers by clearing tables, resetting dining
areas, ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked, and promptly addressing anymaintenance issues or cleanliness concerns.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen or back-of-house staff support colleagues during
busy periods, and contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.
Conflict Resolution: Deal with customer complaints or conflicts. Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability
to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally, aiming to find appropriateresolutions and maintain customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of Policies and Procedures: To be familiar with the Tanoshi’s policies and procedures, such as health and safety
regulations, customer service standards, and company protocols.
