The OpportunityWe’re looking for a motivated Excavator Operator to join our civil contracting team.
You’ll work on a variety of projects. From trenching to site preparation, reinstatement, and sub-base formation. Operating well-maintained plant and contributing to a team that takes pride in doing the job properly.
What You’ll DoOperate excavators (typically 2-15 t), rollers, skid steers, and other plant as required
Carry out earthworks, site works, trenching, trim work, etc.
Perform daily pre-starts, basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
Work closely with site managers to ensure quality, H&S, and environmental standards are met
Occasionally support other site tasks as part of a tight-knit crew
About You5 + years’ experience operating excavators in civil construction, drainage, or roading works
Full Class 1 license, WTR endorsements (required)
Ability to read plans, set levels, and work accurately to grade
Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Physically fit and ready for full-time field work (Mon – Fri, occasional Saturday as required)
