Dargaville - Supermarket Assistant - Butchery Team - Part Time
Our stunning store, in the heart of the magical Mangawhai community, has been operating since October 2022.
With grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, liquor, chilled and frozen, online and checkout departments in a beautiful new store, we are bringing a new era of shopping to our wonderful customers.

Role - Supermarket Assistant - Butchery Team
Provide a high level of customer service and assisting customers where needed- Ensure high presentation standards in all areas
- Serve customers at the butchery and seafood serve over
- Ensure that stock is filled efficiently and accurately
- Contributing to and maintaining excellent food Safety Standards and Health and Safety Standards, following all policies and procedures
- Cleaning
- Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results
- Part time - 3 days - Monday 3.30pm-7.30pm, Saturday 6.00am-4.00pm, Sunday 1.00pm-8.00pm = 18 hours per week
- Butchery experience is not essential as full training provided

What are we looking for:
- Supermarket / retail experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong work ethic, dedicated, reliable, honest and be an excellent team player
- Confidence, initiative and maturity to work unassisted at times
- Self-starters and the ability work across multiple departments
