The Royal Oak Head Cook and Front-of-House job positions

Royal Oak Tavern in Carteron is known for its friendly atmosphere and loyal local crowd. We are planning to set up the kitchen for meals at the Royal Oak. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Head Cook to take charge of the kitchen and help us grow our Menu.

This Head Cook is a hands-on role where you’ll have responsibility for running the kitchen — from menu planning and preparation to service and stock control. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants stability, creativity, and the chance to put their own stamp on a venue that’s ready to expand.

There is also a need for a Food Service/Front of House person. This is a key member of The Royal Oak Kitchen team, focusing solely on the dining experience. This role ensures that guests are served efficiently and professionally, handling all aspects of food order taking, service, payment processing, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.
