experienced Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our team and support day-to-day restaurant operations.

Position Overview: We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Assistant Bar Manager to join our Sports Bar

and Gaming Facility. You will be leading a team while managing and maintaining the atmosphere of the
entire establishment. Responsible for ensuring a high standard of service across all areas, running the
bar, bar deck, kitchen, and gaming area during service. Maintaining a POS system, stock levels, cash
handling, security staff and DJ's. You must hold a current General Managers Certificate. Liquor, Wine, and
Beer knowledge is essential.

You must be punctual, honest, courteous, well-groomed, well-spoken, and a generous team player.

Flexibility regarding working hours is mandatory. You will have great communication skills & a positive

attitude. A genuine passion for service is needed, as is an outgoing, friendly personality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the smooth daily operation of the bar and restaurant.
  • Deliver a top notch service /experience to guests
  • Lead, train, and help develop the bar team
  • Contribute to F&B revenue through effective cost control and ensuring targets are met.
  • Ensuring service standards and beverage quality are met.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience in similar environment.
  • Have experience managing or supervising people.
  • New Zealand qualification in Business or Management.
  • Current LCQ and Managers Certificate
  • The ability to lead and develop a team
  • Top notch customer service skills
  • Great knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails
  • Have a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Have confident interpersonal skills and genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers and
the people around them
  • Be self-motivated and have an infallible eye for detail
