Location: Auckland, Manukau City

• Prepare, cook, and present meals according to traditional recipes, focusing on Indian Pahadi cuisine.
• Ensure food is consistently prepared to high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen, workstations, and storage areas.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper storage and temperature control.
• Manage stock levels, monitor usage, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Work effectively with the kitchen team
• Plan and complete prep tasks to ensure readiness for busy service periods.
• Report any equipment issues promptly and suggest improvements for efficiency and guest satisfaction.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook with knowledge of traditional pahadi Indian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, curries, breads, and slow-cooked dishes.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Reliable, motivated, and a strong team player.

Pay: Pay rate will be $23.50 - $24 per hour

Hours: 30–35 hours of rostered work per week.
