Operations Supervisor

This hands-on role includes duties such as updating schedules, dispatching jobs, liaising with drivers, filling in for driving requirements, and assisting with customer queries. (Quotes and invoices).

• Class 4 license (Manual capable preferred)
• Adequate ability with computers for emails, GPS, quotes, understanding money etc
• Coach Manager experience would be great.
• Experience in a transport company, ideally bus & coach
• An understanding of a busy, ever changing, and time critical kind of business

• Support daily dispatch and driver coordination.
• Communicate service requirements and updates to drivers clearly and in a timely manner.
• Assist with daily run sheets, manifest updates, and late notice changes.
• The Operations Supervisor will be required to drive company vehicles to assist with fleet positioning, vehicle checks, or job cover (Such as, but not limited to, school runs, charters, tours, ferry and airline disrupt, cruise jobs).
• A valid Class 4 licence with a P (Passenger) endorsement is required. Manual experience is preferred, however not essential.
• Complete tasks such as invoicing, quotes, payroll hours, and other office based clerical duties.
• On call, on a rostered basis to support operational requirements.
