Healthcare Assistants
Coastal View is looking for full-time Healthcare Assistants to join the team!
About you – Nga Korero Mou- Experienced Healthcare Assistant who is ready to take on a new challenge.

- You want to be valued team member and can offer a high standard of service and support our residents.
- You hold current rights to work in New Zealand.
- Providing best practice individualised healthcare to Resthome and Hospital level residents.
- Familiarisation with care plans and provide care in accordance with individual resident notes.
- Ensuring own knowledge and work represents education received in conjunction with policies and procedures.
- Ensure changes in residents conditions are accurately identified, documented, and reported to senior staff.
- Participate in annual review of care competencies to ensure best practice is maintained.
- Documenting progress of each residents progress in a comprehensive and timely manner including utilising internal Qestral developed clinical software.
- Participate in Infection Prevention and Control strategies including ensuring the use of personal protective equipment.
- Participation of Health and Safety drills, training and safety techniques.
- We are after someone who can work all shifts and days of the week.
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
We will not be supporting anyone needing a visa for these roles as they are short hours for part-time and casual healthcare assistants.
