Maintenance Engineer

MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS WANTED

Location: Based in Tuakau, covering North Waikato - South Auckland

Carry out offsite plant maintenance/breakdowns and installations. This role will involve weekend work, with flexibility for time off during the week. We will be accommodating for the right candidate.

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of industrial equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize maintenance processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• A positive attitude towards work and strong customer service skills.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working with industrial machinery.
• A relevant engineering or mechanical qualification and practical experience.
• Previous experience in a food processing environment would be advantageous
• General engineering skills, including welding and fabrication.
• A practical, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
• Good time management, and time recording skills
• A full driver's license.
