Acored Group Ltd is a specialist height-access and building-envelope company delivering façade maintenance, remedial repairs, and access-system projects across New Zealand.

As we continue to grow, we are developing improved processes and digital systems to enhance project delivery, safety compliance, and reporting.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician with strong project coordination and computer literacy who can contribute both to hands-on site operations and to the refinement of internal systems and workflows that support safe and efficient project delivery.

This position is based in Auckland, with travel required from time to time to support projects across other regions.

The role is ideal for someone with practical rope-access experience who also brings a structured, methodical approach to planning, reporting, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out rope-access, façade-maintenance, and remedial works on commercial and industrial buildings.
Coordinate project tasks, plan sequencing, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with AS/NZS 1891, company H&S, and site-specific procedures.
Support development of company systems for project tracking, safety documentation, and reporting.

Prepare daily reports, site documentation (JSA, SWMS, PS3/PS4), and photographic evidence of completed work.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and management to ensure project milestones and client expectations are met.

Assist in improving digital tools and workflows to streamline documentation and communication across the business.

Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in rope-access, façade, or construction project work.
IRATA Level 2 (or higher) or equivalent rope-access certification.
Demonstrated experience coordinating or managing technical project delivery.

Strong computer literacy, with the ability to confidently use or help improve project-management and reporting tools.

Sound written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear documentation and reports.
Knowledge of safety documentation, including JSAs, SWMS, and compliance records.
Experience in building-envelope, roofing, or remedial work is highly desirable.
Full NZ driver’s licence (manual).

Willingness to travel and stay away for projects when required.

Qualifications

NZQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent trade/technical background (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).

Remuneration
Hourly rate: $30 – $55 NZD, depending on skills and experience.

Acored guarantees full-time employment of at least 30 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours depending on project workload, motivation, and performance.

Why Join Us

You’ll play a key role in both hands-on project delivery and the development of systems that define how Acored operates.
