HVAC Technician

We are a well-recognized NZ-owned Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heat Pump Specialist with operations across New Zealand. Due to high demand and business growth, we want to grow our technical team in Auckland. Opportunities are now available for HVAC Technicians to join our experienced Auckland team.
About this role:
- Carry out installation of air conditioning & refrigeration units according to New Zealand and Australian standards
- Conduct general servicing maintenance
- Perform fault diagnostics and repairs across our commercial and industrial customer base
- Work with electronic daily job allocation schedules
- Check and refurbish refrigeration systems, diagnose faults, repair and replace faulty mechanisms
- Complete specified jobs within the estimated time frames and complete all relevant paperwork
What we are looking for:
- Relevant Experience - minimum 3 years
- Relevant Industry Qualifications are desired but not essential
- Proven track record in the industry
- Full/Clean Drivers Licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly Customer Focused
- Natural Multi-Tasker with Precise Attention to Detail
You will receive a competitive hourly rate, starting from $30 to $45, with guaranteed 40 hours, plus overtime and after-hours rates. In addition, you will be supplied with a company vehicle, uniform, tool allowance, and paid training to assist you with your personal career development.
