About the Team/ServiceOur team of pathologists, scientists and technicians are supported by a modern, well equipped histology and cytology laboratory. We have access to a wide range of diagnostic stains and techniques. The Waikato Hospital Anatomical Pathology Laboratory processes over 20,000 surgical cases and over 2000 cytology cases per year.
About youSkills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:The successful candidate must be eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences Council and hold a current practicing certificate before commencement in the roleA team focus with good interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail with a focus on qualityAble to work independently and prioritise workload effectivelyUnderstanding of and commitment to process and continuous improvementPrevious experience in a Medical Laboratory will be an advantage Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
