Traffic Management (TTM) Designer
About the role
As a Junior TTM Designer, you will support our senior designers in preparing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for a wide range of construction and maintenance projects. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
While this position is aimed at a junior level, we welcome enquiries from experienced candidates who may be interested.
Your responsibilities will include:- Assisting with the preparation of TMPs in line with the NZTA TTM Manual and local council requirements.
- Updating plans following client or council feedback.
- Preparing supporting documentation and basic risk assessments.
- Managing plan revisions and version control.
- Communicating with internal team members and assisting with submissions.
This role would suit someone with a strong interest in traffic management, civil construction, or road safety.
We’re looking for someone who:- Has strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Is comfortable working with computers and technical drawings.
- Communicates clearly and works well in a team environment.
- Can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Holds (or is willing to work toward) TTMP Level 1 / Entry-level TTM qualifications.
Experience with RapidPlan, AutoCAD, or similar software is an advantage but not essential.
