Head Landscaper

Omokoroa Country Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Landscaper to lead our on-the-ground landscaping team and bring our village to life. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the implementation and maintenance of high-quality landscaping within a premium retirement village.

Unlike a traditional Landscape Manager or Foreman role, this position is heavily operational, with a strong focus on logistics, efficiencies, and system optimisation. You’ll be driving performance, streamlining site processes, and ensuring our landscaping standards are consistently delivered.

• Leading and managing all onsite landscaping activities – hands-on and alongside the team
• Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of landscape works
• Running the day-to-day operations – people, plant, and processes
• Managing all landscaping equipment, vehicles, tools, and resources
• Streamlining site logistics and workflows to maximise productivity
• Working closely with the existing Management Team to align timelines and priorities

• Proven experience in landscaping at a senior operational level
• Strong leadership with the ability to get stuck in and lead from the front
• A practical mindset with excellent planning and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing teams, resources, and on-site logistics
• Good understanding of landscape construction, planting, irrigation, and maintenance
