Store Manager - Auckland

Your key Responsibilities :

1. Ensure the smooth running of the store.
2. Controlling proper inventory levels through the ordering of stock, daily and spot inventory checks, assuring correct receiving and stocking.
3. Organise regular stock-take/inventory and ensure that products received correspond to orders.
4. Conduct quality checks of products regularly.
5. Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
6. Follow training programs to keep store staff informed and knowledgeable of store products, and train staff in proper customer relations skills and sales techniques to maintain a high quality of service to the public.
7. Be competent in cash handling and preparing daily sales reports, deposit preparation, and change orders.
8. Responsible for cash security; prepared daily bank deposits and matched cash with daily sales summary.
9. Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as apparent or as assigned.
10. Listen to client feedback/complaints and ensure they are actioned accordingly.
11. Identifying current and future requirements of customers.
12. Introduce methods of improvement and bring about promotional ideas to increase sales.
13. Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards are obeyed.
14. Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
15. Ensure compliance of all store operations to all applicable laws and regulations.
16. Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards.
17. Responsible for the selection, training and supervision of staff.

1. Must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream.
2. 3 years of relevant work experience may substitute the qualifications requirement.
3. Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment.
4. Possess motivational and leadership skills.
5. Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
6. Must be able to work across any shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
7. Must be a fit, quick thinker, reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
8. Able to lift weights to 25kg.
