About Us

Christies is a jewellery chain with owner-operated stores. We have been operating for over 30 years. Our unique offer includes the largest range of watches in New Zealand under one roof and an unbeatable selection of value-priced jewellery. The Auckland stores have been running for almost 20 years, and in the last five years, we have opened two more stores, with the fourth store opening in November last year.

Currently, all four stores are owned by the same owner. Christies offers a seamless shopping experience both online and in-store, ensuring that our customers have access to our extensive collection no matter where they are.

The role:
As a Sales Associate, you are responsible for building relationships with customers and maximising sales opportunities, whilst maintaining store image, product and operations.

We are seeking a Full Time Retail Manager for our stores. We are looking for positive, reliable and flexible people that would like the challenge of Managing day to day operation of store.

You should be able to:
  • Surprise our customers with excellent customer service at every opportunity
  • Reaching individual and store sales targets consistently
  • Showing you're a team player and helping to build the positive team culture
  • Ensuring all the administrative tasks are completed quickly and efficiently
  • Learning and developing on the job christies way
About you:
  • 10+ years’ experience in experienced in Watches & Jewellery Retail sales
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to maintain long-term client relationships
  • Understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising and store operations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • You will be energetic and enthusiastic - a "people" person
  • Experienced in Minor Watch Repairs, adjusting various types on watch bands
  • Show an understanding of procedures for handling customer complaints and enquiries efficiently
  • Have enthusiasm for building Team morale, loyalty and pride in the store
  • Completed current Seiko training modules
  • Completed Tissot Training Modules for Level 2+
