You will be a key member of our fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both plumbing and gas fitting and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine plumbing & gas fitting maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and efficient completion
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and provide effective solutions

Essential Skills:
- A clean New Zealand Drivers Licence
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- MOJ Clearance
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure jobs are finished to a high standard
- Have the ability to manage your jobs efficiently and cost effectively
- To undertake the job site requirements with a view to maximizing safety and quality, and minimising costs
- Observe all H&S rules and regulations and ensure that the correct procedures are implemented and followed
- Willingness to use technology
Preferred Skills:
- New Zealand Certified or Tradesman Plumbing & Gas fitting license
- Site Safe
- Have good knowledge of the plumbing/gas industry including up-to-date knowledge of current plumbing/gas standards and legislation
