Are you an experienced Civil Supervisor who leads from the front?Blackley Construction Limited is a respected name in the civil construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. We are looking for a practical, hands-on Civil Supervisor to manage multiple crews and sites while maintaining our high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and supervising civil construction crews across multiple sites.
- Coordinating day-to-day site operations, plant, staffing, and workflow to meet project timelines.
- Working alongside Civil Project Manager and Contract Manager on pricing, methodology, project planning and task scheduling.
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship with strong documentation and photographic build records.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures, TMPs, site risk assessments, and company policies.
- Providing on-site training, mentoring and performance oversight of crew members.
- Reporting, administration, timesheet checks, incident documentation and record keeping.
- Engaging positively with clients, councils, subcontractors, suppliers and members of the public.
- Operating plant and equipment where required and jumping on the tools when needed.
- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand ready to step up.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing teams.
- Excellent planning, coordination and communication abilities.
- Committed to health & safety, quality assurance and professional site management.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs confidently and efficiently.
- Comfortable interacting with clients, councils and external stakeholders professionally.
- Capable of handling documentation, reporting and site compliance requirements.
- Holds appropriate tickets/industry qualifications (advantageous but not essential – training available).
