Agricultural accounts administrator
Everton Land Limited has farming operations in the Wairarapa and Waikato. Its purpose is to secure livestock and support farming interests that meet the Cabernet Foods environmental and animal welfare standards that are attached to its meat wholesale activities.
The established Livestock administrator position is based at the Gladstone administration office and works along side the livestock supply coordinator and Kintyre Meats processing team.
This accounts administrator role has previously worked three days a week Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8am to 3.00pm – The position offers flexibility to applicants with the occasional work from home support.
General activities –- Entry management of accounts payable and receivables.
- Livestock reconciliation and stock on hand balances against NAIT and OSPRI - ASD.
- Supplier communications and maintenance of client accounts.
- Livestock tracking and BCI generation reports across multiple processing sites.
- General administration support to livestock coordinator and business owners.
Skill set and experience –
Having a general farming and agricultural background will assist with the expediency to learn the role and support the wider business connections with the client engagement.The role supports the group’s financial controller. Having adequate experience in financial account management that has involved PAYE, GST reporting is essential. Having proven skills that have utilised account management software such as cash manager, MYOB, XERO , ERP systems, Excel, Mailchimp, Teams helps with the effectiveness to succeed in the position.
