Property & Grounds Attendant
Location: Parihoa Estate, Muriwai
Part-Time | 20–30 hours per weekPay reflective of experience
Parihoa is a private coastal estate offering luxury accommodation, events, and filming. We are seeking a reliable and proactive Property & Grounds Attendant to help maintain the presentation, safety, and smooth day-to-day operation of the property.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone practical, highly dependable, and comfortable working independently while maintaining consistently high standards.
About the Role:
- Maintain the grounds and gardens to a high presentation standard
- Carry out routine property checks and preventative maintenance
- Complete minor repairs and upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas
- Support property readiness for guest stays, events, and filming
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment responsibly
- Monitor the site and proactively identify maintenance needs
- Assist with waste management and general site organisation
- This role also includes supporting a secondary site, requiring approximately 5–10 hours per fortnight, with travel between locations.

- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Practical with property maintenance experience
- Comfortable working independently
Requirements:
- Full, clean driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle suitable for transporting tools and equipment
- Comfortable travelling between sites
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- References will be required
- The preferred candidate may be required to complete pre-employment checks, including reference checks, criminal history checks, licence verification, and drug and alcohol testing.
Reporting Line:
- This role reports directly to the Property & Operations Manager.
