CLASS 5 TRUCK DRIVER - Casual/On-Call
Kalsada Transport Ltd is part of the Orion Group, a privately owned and family orientated company that specialises in the cartage of stock feeds from raw material stores and feed mills to farms throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver with the skills and qualities we value to join our dynamic team based in Takanini, driving either our Kalsada, Actus, or Orion branded trucks. As this is a casual position, days and hours may vary across the week, including weekends, with work available on both day and night shifts depending on operational needs.
We take pride in our fleet and gear, including new and well-maintained trucks. We have a professional and experienced team that creates a healthy work environment where teamwork is key.

What You’ll Bring:- Ability to drive an 18 speed Road Ranger
- Flexibility to drive different trucks and loading combinations
- Safe loading and unloading of freight
- Experience driving on rural roads
- Good geographical knowledge of Auckland, Northland and Waikato
- The ability to manage time efficiently
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and be reliable
- Good physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
- Your own reliable transport
