About the Role
We are seeking motivated and empathetic Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside others to deliver high-quality care and support to tangata whaiora accessing our services.
Positions are available across:- Activities-based programmes, supporting clients to engage in group activities, develop skills, and achieve personal goals
- Residential support, assisting clients who reside within our service
You will contribute to creating a supportive environment that encourages recovery, independence, and community participation.
Skills & Experience Required- NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 4) or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa
- A strong sense of empathy, respect, and cultural awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently (1:1) and within a team environment
- Flexibility and willingness to work across a range of shifts
- Energy, initiative, and a proactive approach to supporting others
- Respect for diverse perspectives, values, and ways of life
- Provide person-centered support to tangata whaiora
- Assist with the delivery of structured activities and programmes
- Support clients to set and work towards individual goals
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Encourage social connection and community engagement
Our service operates between 7:30am and 10:30pm, seven days a week.
We offer full-time and part-time roles, with shifts that may be flexible to suit your lifestyle.
