CIVIL TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST FOR THIS ROLE:
- Up to $36 per hour
- Modern fleet of trucks with Road Ranger gearboxes
- 3 years of confirmed works offering you long term job security and stability
- 40 hours guaranteed per week for wet weather, consistently work 50-60 hours on average per week
- Big hours available including Saturday work if you are interested
This long standing, premier Christchurch based civil contractor specialises in subdivisions, 3 waters drainage, roading construction, commercial site works and rural projects. With 5-6 major projects under construction in Christchurch, there has never been a busier time to join our business.
We now require a Class 5 Truck Driver and a back up Class 5 Transporter Driver to join our high performing civil trucking division:
Ideally you will have experience in:
- Driving Class 5 truck and trailer units in a civil environment
- Be confident backing, tipping and jack knifing, spreading experience advantageous
- Using road ranger and automatic gearboxes
- Transporting machinery to and from site, securing and tying down loads
- Assisting with ground works as and when required
Applicants that can also operate excavators / loaders and self load will be looked at favourably.
