Civil Construction Labourer - South Auckland

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Civil Construction Labourers to support the team with upcoming projects within their Water Division as well as assisting with general labouring duties across civil works.

This is a hands on role suitable for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work and thrives in a team environment.

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday)Work hours: Morning, Afternoon and/or Night Shift - flexibility with availibilty favouredPay rate: $26phLocation: South Auckland

• Assist with installation, maintenance and repair of water infrastructure (pipes, drainage and pipelines)
• General site clean up and manual labour tasks
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assist skilled tradespeople and machine operators as required
• Follow site plans and instructions from Supervisors
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
• Help with traffic management and site setup where required

• Previous experience in Civil Construction, Water Works or General Labour (preferred but not essential)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good understanding of Health & Safety

• Have a Full Class 1 NZ Driver's License
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Return a clean criminal background check
• Have reliable transport
• Provide atlease two contactable work related references
