As a Recovery Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a caseload of clients requiring individual support due to the nature of their injuries or needs.
In this role you will: Work closely with recovering clients, their families, providers, and employers.Communicate via phone, email, or occasionally in person.Develop a comprehensive rehabilitation plan to address obstacles and promote recovery.Help clients achieve meaningful progress toward their goals.As a Recovery Coordinator you can also specialise in various areas.
For example: As a Recovery Coordinator working in the Integrated Care Pathways (ICP), you will primarily work with providers whose clients have musculoskeletal injuries in the lower back, shoulder, or knee regions that may require surgery.These providers are part of an interdisciplinary team who create coordinated and effective treatment plans, focusing on rehabilitation goals rather than isolated services.
This approach also empowers the client to take a more active role in their rehabilitation process.
Predominately an administration role you will contact providers and clients by phone or email.
About you You might be an administrator or work in a customer-focused industry aiming to advance your career.
