The Role
As a Software Developer at Engender, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable applications that power our breakthrough technology. You’ll be hands-on across the development lifecycle—writing clean, reliable code, collaborating with scientists and engineers, and driving innovation in automation, testing, and deployment.
What You’ll Do- Develop high-quality, maintainable software aligned with project goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to turn requirements into solutions.
- Take part in design discussions, reviews, and testing to ensure robustness.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to validate performance.
- Follow best practices in version control, documentation, and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Stay up to date with tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
- Strong experience in software development with languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
- Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle, QA, and automated testing.
- Skilled with frameworks/tools like Selenium, JUnit, or NUnit.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Analytical thinker with great problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with clear communication skills.
