We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven Estimator / Quantity Surveyor based in Hamilton, highlighting opportunities for an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor – Hamilton to support the delivery of innovative, large-scale infrastructure projects. As a key member of the commercial team, you’ll be responsible for:- Preparing competitive and accurate tenders and cost estimates, which is essential for those keen on being an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor – Hamilton.
- Supporting project cost control and forecasting
- Assisting with budgets, subcontractor pricing, and material take-offs
- Working closely with Contract Managers to ensure project success from concept to completion
About You
We’re after someone who thrives in a dynamic team environment and brings:- A relevant qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying, ideal for an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor – Hamilton role
- At least 3 years of NZ-based experience in civil construction estimating
- A sharp eye for detail, backed by strong analytical and numerical skills
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- High proficiency in MS Excel and other estimating tools
- Residency or the right to work in New Zealand
