Queenstown - Customer Service Representative / Car Groomer

About the Role:

The role involves plenty of variety including customer service, car grooming, driving our courtesy shuttle and administration tasks. It is a mix of outdoor and office work and a great opportunity to be part of a growing kiwi-owned and operated Rental Car Company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing professional, efficient, and friendly service to all customers, handling enquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Answering calls and email in a timely manner
• Processing bookings payments
• Addressing and resolving customers’ concerns or complaints
• Taking bookings by phone and email and entering bookings into our booking system

• Explaining to customers the Terms and Conditions of the rental agreement and other related information
• Checking with accuracy all vehicle’s conditions before and after hires
• Driving the courtesy shuttle for customer pick-ups and dropoffs
• Accepting and processing payments from customers

• Grooming and inspecting cars and have them ready for rental
• Managing daily availability of vehicles and ensuring all vehicles are ready for customers collection and up to the business’ standards
• Organising and getting COF’s and Registrations

• Minor panel repairs (basic repairs e.g. scratches/scrapes)
• Battery changing and charging.
• Checking and topping up oils/coolant/fluids
• Checking tyre pressure + tyre changing if required

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service-based role
• Ability to perform basic automotive/cleaning tasks
• Good clear and articulate oral and written English communication skills
• Full, clean New Zealand driver's license or equivalent
• Living close to the airport (ideally within 15 minutes' drive) is desirable
• Remuneration Guide: $25 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)
• Minimum guaranteed hours are 30 per week
• Flexibility in work hours is required, including weekend work, occasional late shifts/callouts, and some public holidays
