About the Role:
We are a well-established building company that is based in Feilding/Manawatu with a strong forward workload. We’re looking for a qualified builder to join our friendly and professional team.You’ll be working on a variety of residential projects, including new builds and renovations, delivering high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Residential construction and renovation work
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Framing, site set-out, and finishing work
- Managing materials and maintaining a tidy site
- Ensuring work meets NZ Building Code standards
- Working independently and within a team
- Operating machinery
What We’re Looking For:
- NZ Trade Qualified Carpenter (Level 4)
- 5+ years’ experience in the NZ building industry
- Strong knowledge of NZ building methods and regulations
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, motivated, and positive attitude
- Able to work unsupervised
Requirements:
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Own basic hand tools & Battery tools
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Pass a drug test
